1. Do you have to be in a specific affinity group to understand the joke?
- You are not required to be in a specific affinity group to understand the joke. Though you must have a certain understanding in the related context to be able to “decode” the language or the joke behind the comments.
2. Would you make fun of yourself or write some inside jokes in order to be in the top comments?

3. Why do you think that the top comments have so many likes?
- In my opinion, there are few reasons why the top comments have such likes. Firstly, they made a good relation and extension to the photo, continuing the jokes that was made in the photo. It is because it started with a joke related to gaming items that is wearing on dog which refers to the snow, yet the comments continued on the joke by asking it “Is it enchanted, though?” shows that the person who commented have enough understanding to the gaming terms and decided to put it as a joke. Secondly, most people attempted to grab attention through using popular internet memes. The second highest “like” comment is “I’m a dog and I find it defensive”. This is a joke developed from “I’m a ______ and I find it offensive”. Making reverses on wordings are also a popular move among the internet memes. Finally, with meeting the requirements above, one final key is needed – speed. Most top comments are made usually by the first few minutes after the post is established, since the more people would see it and like it. Therefore with if you post your comments as soon as it is released and with jokes or memes that can echo with most viewers there is a high chance the comment can make its way to the top.
4. Try to post inside jokes in the affinity group that you are interested in. Do you feel a sense of belonging in the group?
